Oof. A massive R99 jump in the basket this week. Toilet paper alone went up R40, and their Nescafé special vanished. We also saw price hikes across most staples.

They’ve had some price drops in small items… but the trolley total rose by over R20, thanks to Coffee, Tea, and Iwisa Pap all jumping. ☕📈

Shoprite stays off the official rankings this week — again, due to inconsistent pack sizes like 2kg sugar vs everyone else’s 2.5kg. Still, we’ve included the prices we could find. It’s not apples to apples, but it’s still worth a peek. 🍎➡️🍏
