Terms and Conditions: Pensioners Forum & Deals Competition

1. Promoter

This competition is organised by Pensioners Forum & Deals (“the Promoter”) and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.

2. Eligibility

  • The competition is open only to South African residents aged 55 years or older.
  • Entrants must be members of the Private Facebook Group: Pensioners Forum & Deals at the time of entry and when the prize is awarded.
  • Employees, agents, or affiliates of the Promoter, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.

3. Prize Details

The prize includes:

  • 2 nights Bed & Breakfast accommodation for two people at Thali Thali Game Lodge,
  • Game Drives for two, and
  • Archery lessons for two at Thali Thali Game Lodge.

Please note:

  • All transport, meals, drinks, and any other expenses not specified above are for the winner’s own account.
  • The prize does not include travel to or from Thali Thali Game Lodge.
  • The prize is not transferable, not exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

4. How to Enter

Multiple entries are allowed. Participants may enter the competition by doing any (or all) of the following:

Each qualifying action will count as one entry.

Entries must be submitted before the closing date specified in the competition post. Late entries will not be accepted.

5. Winner Selection

  • The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received.
  • The draw will take place after the competition closing date.
  • The winner will be contacted via Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or email (depending on the entry method used).
  • If the winner cannot be contacted within 5 days, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

6. Prize Redemption

  • Dates for accommodation and activities are subject to availability at Thali Thali Game Lodge.
  • The prize cannot be redeemed during South African public holidays or school holiday periods, unless otherwise agreed by the lodge.
  • The prize must be redeemed within the validity period communicated at the time of notification.
  • The Promoter will coordinate with the winner to arrange booking details directly with Thali Thali Game Lodge.

7. General Conditions

  • By entering, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any entrant who does not comply.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice.
  • The Promoter and Thali Thali Game Lodge will not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense incurred as a result of participation in the competition or use of the prize.
  • By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that their name and/or photograph may be used by the Promoter for marketing or publicity purposes related to this competition, without further compensation.

8. Data Protection

Personal information provided for the competition will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition and contacting the winner, and will not be shared with third parties except where necessary for prize fulfilment.

9. Acceptance

Participation in this competition implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

    Read many books where Thali Thali and the surrounding areas are mentioned.
    The experience always sound surreal.

      Archery lessons are R150pp for a 30-minute lesson. As our instructors are also involved in the Game Drives, we try to arrange these lessons outside these slots. You can pick a spot between 08:30 – 10:00 or 12:00 – 15:00.

    This would be a fantastic getaway as I’ve not been to Thali Thali reserve before. Addo reserve was the last (fantastic) excursion in 2017 organized by my family. Nowadays such holidays are still on my bucket list!

    Planning to visit the West Coast end of Fen 26. Our son is in Vredendal.
    Would love this prize as I love nature. Did Chemical Capture in my younger days.
